Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve posted. So much going on.
But - everyone needs a dependable can opener!!
Cute story! And true! Years ago, those faddish can openers came on the market, where they had a “safe edge”. Yep! Being the “Gadget Girl”, I had to have one.
Back then, we exchanged names in our family - with a large family, it was easier for each child to just buy 1 present, rather than for everyone.
So, we had to put something on our wish list, and I put on a safe edge can opener.
I knew who drew my name. LOL!!! Seriously, (I won’t tell you who drew my name), but the child that got my name burst into tears. I knew instantly.
Ahhhh. Brings back good memories.
DID YOU KNOW THAT ALL CAN OPENERS CAN DO THE SAFE EDGE?????? I didn’t. Not until someone posted it on a facebook video. I will do one this afternoon, showing it.
So, if you just put the opener on it’s side, laying across the top of the can, it will do the same thing as those “fancy” safe edge can openers!!
