HImalayan Salt Lamp

We have 2 Himalayan Salt Lamps in our home.  One in my bedroom, and one in the living room area.  Our son and daughter-in-law put them in their children's bedrooms.

What do they do?  Well, for one, it provides a night light.  My grandchildren LOVE this aspect of it!  I love that they have a dimmer switch on them!  I do NOT like any light in my bedroom, so, I turn the dimmer way down at night, and it does not disturb me.

They say there are a lot of health benefits from using a Himalayan salt lamp, which you can research on your own.  I use it mostly for air purification.  Especially during the dreaded cough and cold season.  We didn't really get the bad illnesses this year, and it's possibly because of using the salt lamps.

They are HEAVY!  You need to keep them away from moisture --a bathroom would not be a good place for them.
